Job summary

Cortica in Laguna Niguel, CA is seeking an entry level Play Based Behavior Technician to support children with neurodevelopmental differences using naturalistic, play-based ABA.

We offer flexible part-time schedules, paid training, BCAT prep, and a pay range of $21.18 to $28.42 per hour, based on experience. Roles include Saturdays, mileage reimbursement, and a strong coaching culture.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children; autism experience a plus.
• High School or equivalent, bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Willingness to obtain BCAT credential within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and group behavior-analytic services to children with autism.
• Implement positive behavior strategies with BCBA guidance.
• Document session data to track progress and goals.
• Collaborate with families and supervisors to build supportive environments.
• Follow crisis protocols and de-escalation procedures.
