Job summary

Cortica in Laguna Niguel, CA is seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians to design and deliver compassionate, evidence-based care for children with neurodevelopmental differences. The role offers training, growth, and a clear ladder to BCBA opportunities within a supportive team environment.

Expect hands-on practice with 1:1 and group sessions, mentorship from Lead BTs and supervisors, and continued professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, including autism, is preferred.
• High School or equivalent; bachelor’s or master’s degree required or preferred.
• Willingness to obtain BCAT credential within 90 days of start.
• Ability to travel between client sites within a 30–40 minute radius.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and group behavior-analytic services to children.
• Implement positive behavior strategies developed with your BCBA.
• Document session data to track and support treatment goals.
• Collaborate with families and supervisors to build supportive environments.
• Follow Cortica's crisis protocols, including de-escalation and reporting.
