Job summary

Cortica in Irvine, CA is seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians to support children with neurodevelopmental differences through play-based therapy. This part-time role offers a pay range of $21.18 to $28.42 per hour, a stable schedule, and hands-on training.

You will work 1:1 and in groups, implement positive behavior strategies with BCBA guidance, document progress, and collaborate with families and clinicians.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children; autism experience is a plus.
• Willingness to obtain BCAT credential within 90 days.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and group behavior-analytic services to children.
• Implement positive behavior strategies with BCBA guidance.
• Document session data to support treatment goals and progress.
• Collaborate with families and supervisors to build supportive environments.
• Follow crisis protocols, including de-escalation and reporting.
