Job summary

Cortica Care seeks dedicated Behavior Technicians to support children with neurodevelopmental differences in Laguna Niguel, CA and surrounding areas. The role offers part-time schedules, a single rate of pay, and pathways to growth within the Cortica care team.

We provide fully paid orientation and BCAT exam review, plus ongoing professional development and opportunities to advance to BCBA or other roles. Travel between client sites is required within a 30–40 minute radius.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children; autism experience is a plus.
• Willingness to obtain BCAT credential within 90 days (training provided).
• Ability to travel between client sites within a 30–40 minute radius.
• Proficient with EMR systems and Microsoft Office tools.
• High School or better; bachelor’s or master’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and group behavior-analytic services to children with autism and other differences.
• Implement positive behavior strategies developed with your BCBA.
• Document session data to track and support treatment goals.
• Collaborate with families and supervisors to build supportive environments.
• Follow Cortica’s crisis protocols, including de-escalation and mandated reporting.
