Location: Work at Home position in United States
Pay: $1.25 - $1.40 per minute, depending on the time of day and interpretation level as defined by LanguageLine Solutions.
The Plautdietsch Telephone Interpreter handles on-demand calls, interpreting conversations between Plautdietsch and English. The role involves breaking communication barriers across various industries: Healthcare, Government, Insurance, Financial, Utilities, Travel & Hospitality, General Business, Law Enforcement, Court, and 911.
The interpreter must process information quickly, recognize cultural differences, and maintain professionalism and courtesy, using appropriate terminology. Sessions may involve technical or non-technical subjects.
This role involves verbal interpretation only; written translation is not required, though translators and linguists are encouraged to apply. It is a remote position requiring a quiet, secure environment.
Post-offer background checks and drug screens may be required depending on location.
