You will set up and serve, manage menus, and ensure sanitation standards while assisting residents during meals and events. This position involves teamwork and a caring approach to residents and guests.

Qualifications

• Be able to make independent decisions and follow instructions.
• Deal tactfully with residents, families, staff and the public.
• Capable of working with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset people.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, residents, and families.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals that are appetizing and presented well.
• Serve food per portion control procedures.
• Distribute and collect menus as needed.
• Take meal orders and answer menu questions.
• Follow sanitary regulations at all times.
• Provide Platinum Service with each dining experience.
• Set up dining room with utensils, napkins and condiments.
• Pour beverages and assist residents with opening containers.
