Ampcus Inc. seeks a Plating Technician I for the 4th shift in Lincoln, NH. You will operate equipment for metal finishing processes, load and unload parts, monitor tanks, and maintain logs.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math and reading skills, and a basic understanding of chemistry. You will lift up to 30 pounds, wear safety footwear, and follow prescribed procedures to ensure product quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure; compute rate and percent.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Must have a basic understanding of chemistry as it applies to the job.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads tote pans of parts, racks and barrels, processes and dries parts.
• Uses hoists and manual lifting.
• Follows prescribed procedures for processing.
• Maintains tanks and work areas; monitors solution temperatures.
• Keeps daily production logs and inspects product quality.
• May assist with chemical handling, record keeping, and basic troubleshooting as needed.
