Scope

The Copper Plater I is responsible for processing panels through the cleaning line, loading and unloading plating tanks, changing filters, anode bags, adding copper to plating baskets, tin anode bars, dumping and remaking chemistries per company procedures and schedules, and keeping a clean and safe area all the time. Must have good communication skills and adapt quickly to a fast‑paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Processes boards through Copper Plating, in a complete and timely manner in accordance with production traveler and work instructions to ensure that all processes are maintained in accordance with ISO procedures.
• Performance of dumps and remakes of the chemistries per PM schedule. Maintains and cleans all department equipment.
• Ensure that each job is accompanied by a traveler and that all previous steps are signed off.
• Duties include start‑up, operation, preventive maintenance and quality according to work instructions.
• Follow safety guidelines.

Essential Knowledge and Skills

• Basic mathematical and reasoning ability required.
• Ability to communicate with managers and supervisors.
• This position requires the individual to perform the entire shift while standing.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Practice proper lifting techniques at all times.
• Must have very good concentration and must be able to remain focused with minor interruptions.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED desired.
• At least 1-2 years of work experience in Copper Plating background in lieu of educational requirement.
• Basic computer skills a must.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $42,038 - $66,447.

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.

Export Statement

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC. Must be able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only U.S. Citizens and U.S. Permanent Residents. Must recognize foreign visitors by badge differentiation; understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities; understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the U.S.; manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
