Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent experience; Bachelor degree preferred.
• Minimum three years of manufacturing leadership experience, including direct supervision of hourly employees; plating, chemical-processing, wastewater, maintenance, or other regulated-process experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of production scheduling, safety and environmental compliance, quality systems, Lean Daily Management, root cause problem solving, and 6S.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible daily supervision on the production floor; set priorities, assign work, monitor execution, and address issues at the point of work.
• Supervise, coach, train, and develop assigned employees; communicate expectations, recognize performance, address attendance or conduct concerns, and apply corrective action when required.
• Plan staffing, schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet daily requirements while controlling labor and overtime.
• Conduct shift start-up meetings, communicate safety and production priorities, review results, and ensure effective shift handoffs.
• Lead root cause problem solving and verify corrective actions are completed and sustained; partner with EHS, quality, maintenance, engineering, facilities, planning, HR, and suppliers to resolve operational issues and improve equipment reliability.
• Maintain employee training and qualification records and ensure personnel are capable of safely performing assigned work.
