Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies in the United States is seeking a full-time process technician on the first shift. You will process parts in tanks according to specifications and work orders, calculate processing times, and rinse and immerse parts as required to complete the finishing steps.

You will oversee and assist line assistants to optimize throughput, record preventative maintenance, ensure hazardous waste is disposed of correctly, complete paperwork as required by company guidelines, and

Qualifications

• Experience operating processing lines and following work orders.
• Ability to log maintenance and keep accurate records.
• Familiarity with safety and environmental guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Process parts in tanks according to specs and work orders.
• Calculate appropriate processing times and monitor throughput.
• Rinse parts and immerse them in bath as required for finishing.
• Complete paperwork as required by company guidelines.
• Oversee and assist line assistants to optimize throughput.
• Evaluate and log preventative maintenance on the processing line.
• Ensure hazardous waste is disposed of correctly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Process parts in tanks according to specifications, work order and other requirements.

Calculates the appropriate amount of time needed to process parts.

Removes parts from tank after specified time, rinses parts and immerses them in bath before finishing processing.

Completes Paperwork As Required By Company And Processing Guidelines.

Oversee and assist all line assistants to optimize throughput.

Evaluate and log all preventative maintenance on processing line.

Ensure all hazardous waste material is disposed of correctly.

Other duties as assigned.

Work is performed in shop conditions and can be in excess of 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
