Job summary

Primetals Technologies USA is recruiting for an entry-level 1st shift Chrome Plater in Blytheville, AR. This role involves maintenance, prep work, pre-treatment, and chrome plating operations with potential for growth.

Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, part preparation, chemical cleaning, and thickness verification. Prior plating experience is a plus but not required; training is provided. Comprehensive benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of plating solution, tanks, pumps, filters and other equipment associated with the process.
• Preparation of parts: hand finishing, masking and installation of hangers and contacts.
• Pre-treatment of parts: removal of grease, oil, and residues utilizing chemical or cleaning solutions.
• Chrome plating of parts: operating overhead crane to submerge part into plating tank.
• Unmask parts after removal from plating tank.
• Testing of the plating process to ensure compliance with required specifications. Adjusting pH of the bath and amperage on electrical rectifiers as required.
• Verify correct plating thickness per specification
• May perform heat tests on parts to ensure adhesion.

We are currently recruiting to fill the role of 1st shift Chrome Plater in Blytheville, AR.

Minimum Requirements

• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Applicants must pass a pre‑employment physical exam and drug screen.

Classification and base pay rate will be dependent upon skillset and prior experience.
