Job summary

CourtAvenue, INC. is seeking a Design Director, Platform UI to lead the visual interface layer across complex enterprise engagements. You will shape design systems, govern components, and partner with engineering to ship scalable UI that meets accessibility standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in digital product design, UI design, or visual/interface design with 3+ years in product/platform/B2B SaaS.
• Demonstrated design leadership within an agency, consulting firm, or product company.
• Strong portfolio of shipped product interfaces with design system thinking and engineering partnership.
• Experience designing for enterprise platforms, MarTech, telecom, or regulated environments.
• Mastery of Figma with advanced component architecture and design systems documentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the visual interface layer of platform engagements, translating UX foundations into production-ready UI.
• Architect, evolve, and govern design systems and component libraries used in production.
• Drive visual design quality across typography, color, spacing, iconography, motion, and micro-interactions.
• Partner with engineering, product management, and platform architects to ensure design ships with quality.
• Collaborate with Experience Strategy while owning UI and visual systems.
• Champion accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) as a non-negotiable design discipline.
• Establish design critique culture and governance for multiple engagements.
• Mentor and manage career growth of a team of UI designers, including hiring and performance.
