Job summary

NCCI is seeking a Systems Consultant to join our Platform Engineering team in Boca Raton. The role focuses on architecture, design, and implementation of scalable, secure infrastructure across hybrid cloud environments, with emphasis on Terraform, Ansible, IaC, and DR strategies.

You will lead architecture efforts, provide solutions, and oversee automation initiatives, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a flexible-hybrid setting. Local presence near Boca Raton is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or additional related work experience.
• 8+ years of broad IT infrastructure experience in medium to large systems environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a 24x7 Server Support environment as required.
• Ability to work well with a team and lead in complex and constantly changing environment.
• Solid knowledge of clustering, virtualization technologies, databases, storage and backup technologies, scripting, and development methodologies.
• In depth understanding of technical requirements of supported applications.
• Experience leading large and complex projects and collaborating with cross functional teams on projects.

Responsibilities

• New Technology - Architect and implement complex technologies with cross platform knowledge across databases, OS, security, networks, storage, backups, virtualization, and DR.
• Management/Tools Solutions – Maintain and recommend monitoring and management solutions.
• Technical Project Manager – Maintain Linux solutions and upgrades; evaluate architectures and propose best fits.
• Problem Escalation – Serve as 3rd level support and communicate resolutions.
