Job summary

Syren Technologies is looking for an Alation Platform Support Engineer to support our enterprise data catalog. In this position, you will monitor platform health, troubleshoot data issues, and ensure accurate data catalog content.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Alation or similar tools, a strong understanding of metadata management, and good SQL skills. This role requires working closely with data engineers and business teams to enhance data discoverability and platform stability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Alation Data Catalog or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of metadata management and data lineage principles.
• Good SQL skills for validation and troubleshooting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for the Alation platform.
• Monitor platform health, ingestion jobs, and system performance.
• Configure and manage connections between Alation and enterprise data sources.
