Job summary

ASML is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Intern to help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software supporting advanced semiconductor technology.

You will work in the Platform Software Quality Assurance team, collaborating with software and hardware engineers to test, validate, and improve software across multiple platforms using Python, C++, Perl, or Shell scripting in a high-performance computing environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in CS, EE, math, or a related field.
• Junior or senior standing, or graduate-level student.
• Coursework or experience in software testing, development, or system engineering is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist QA activities across multiple software platforms within Platform Software Quality Assurance.
• Test and validate software features with developers and hardware engineers.
• Identify issues and contribute to improving software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Use programming or scripting languages such as Python, C++, Perl, or Shell scripting for testing tasks.
• Evaluate AI-assisted tools for accuracy, reliability, security, and relevance before applying them to engineering work.
