Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, or related field.
• “Junior or senior standing, or graduate-level student.”
• “Previous coursework, projects, research, or internship related to software development, software testing, or system engineering preferred.”

Responsibilities

• Understand operating systems, relational databases, networking concepts, and client-server architectures.
• Demonstrate familiarity with concurrent computing concepts and file system management.
• Understand software development lifecycles and quality assurance methodologies.
• Apply analytical thinking and numerical problem-solving to investigate software behavior.
• Use programming or scripting languages such as Python, C++, Perl, or Shell scripting.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and identify root causes effectively.
• Communicate technical information clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Use AI-assisted engineering tools responsibly for learning, coding, test design, and documentation while protecting confidential information.
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, reliability, security, and relevance before applying them to engineering work.
