Job summary

Edison Smart® in New York City on-site is seeking an engineer to build the platform the robotics team relies on, including simulation, tooling, and CI/CD pipelines to move code safely from simulation to real hardware.

You will own and optimize simulation environments, containerised tooling, and the end-to-end infrastructure to accelerate robotics development and deployment. This role requires hands-on robotics experience and strong Python skills.

Qualifications

• Experience building simulation environments for robotics software.
• Familiarity with containerised tooling and CI/CD for robotics stacks.
• Experience running GPU workloads or hardware-in-the-loop testing.

I'm working with a well funded AI and robotics startup in NYC. Their robots run real world experiments around the clock, and AI decides what to try next. Small team, serious backing, and work that leaves the simulator every day.

They need an engineer to build the platform the robotics team works on: simulation, tooling and the pipelines that get robot code from sim onto real hardware safely.

What you'll do

• Build and run simulation environments for testing robot software

• Robotics simulation tools such as Isaac Sim, MuJoCo or Gazebo
