Anthropic is seeking a senior security engineer to design, build, and operate security foundations across its fleet. You will own cryptographic frameworks and mTLS, and implement authorization systems with least-privilege controls.

You will partner with product, research, and infrastructure teams, drive architecture choices, and mentor engineers to grow Anthropic's security culture and capabilities.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of software engineering experience building security-relevant systems in production.
• Strong programming skills in Go, Rust or Python.
• Deep understanding of authentication and authorization systems (OAuth 2.0 / OIDC, JWTs).
• Hands-on experience with PKI, X.509, and workload identity.
• Experience shipping and operating high-reliability services on Kubernetes.
• Ability to drive initiatives across teams and own cryptographic frameworks.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and run security foundations used across Anthropic's fleet.
• Develop cryptographic frameworks, mTLS infrastructure and authorization systems.
• Partner with product, research, and infrastructure teams to integrate security controls.
• Scope, design and build security services end-to-end and maintain them in production.
• Mentor engineers, contribute to hiring and grow security engineering culture.
