Job summary

Procurement Sciences Inc. is seeking a hands-on security engineer to own the engineering side of security across the platform, including vulnerability management, app security, AI/LLM security, cloud hardening, and automation.

You’ll report to the CISO, collaborate with Platform Eng, Product and DevOps, and help maintain FedRAMP Moderate authorization while enabling rapid engineering progress.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on security engineering in multiple domains.
• Strong cloud-native security in Azure and/or GCP; Kubernetes/container hardening.
• Experience with SAST/DAST/SCA, CSPM/CWPP, EDR, SIEM, and secret scanning.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, TypeScript, or Bash for automation.
• Clear communication with developers and customers.
• US citizenship required for FedRAMP and defense customers.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end vulnerability management including pen tests, CSPM/CWPP tooling, MTTR and risk reporting.
• Application security: SAST/DAST/SCA, secret scanning, threat modeling, secure code review, developer training.
• AI/LLM security across model integrations, RAG pipelines, and provider APIs.
• Cloud and infrastructure security in Azure/GCP under FedRAMP and GCC High: IAM, network segmentation, encryption, Kubernetes runtime protection, IaC scanning, WAF, zero-trust.
• Security automation: CI/CD gates, detection-as-code, SOAR, automated compliance evidence collection for SOC 2, FedRAMP, CMMC.
• Detection and response across endpoints, cloud, and apps; lead or support IR; update IR plan.
• Compliance and customer trust: map controls to NIST 800-53, SSPs/POA&Ms, continuous monitoring.
