Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking a software engineer to help design and build Aurora-like cloud database services.

You will work on scalable distributed systems, mentor teammates, and contribute to high-availability components that power AWS database workloads. You will collaborate with senior engineers and product teams to define architecture and deliver reliable cloud services with strong performance guarantees.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture (reliability and scaling) experience.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
