Job summary

Vizient, Inc. in the United States seeks a Product Manager to own defined Knowledge & Semantic Platform capabilities, including ontology, knowledge graphs, taxonomy, and metadata management.

You will partner with engineering, data teams and internal clients to define and evolve the operating layer beneath the platform, guiding AI-enabled solutions and semantic modeling. You will manage the backlog and roadmap, ensuring delivery aligns with governance, data stewardship, and AI-assisted

Qualifications

• Experience in product management or ownership for enterprise platforms or AI-enabled products.
• Ability to translate business concepts into semantic platform capabilities.
• Familiarity with ontology, knowledge graphs, taxonomy, and metadata management.
• Experience partnering with engineering and data teams to deliver scalable models.

Responsibilities

• Own the backlog and near-term roadmap for Knowledge & Semantic Platform capabilities.
• Conduct discovery with internal clients to understand concepts, data relationships and AI use cases.
• Define requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and semantic models.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, security, and design teams to translate concepts into reusable capabilities.
• Balance priorities across client needs, architecture direction, governance, and data stewardship.
• Support deployment, release readiness and adoption while promoting semantic standards.
• Use metrics and AI-supported synthesis to refine backlog and drive platform adoption.
• Create guidance and enablement resources to help teams leverage semantic capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to improve metadata quality and semantic consistency.
