Job summary

National Geographic is seeking a Product Manager II to lead high-impact initiatives shaping customer experience across Sportsbook, Casino, Predictions, and the broader app ecosystem. You will own the content management platform end-to-end, collaborating with Engineering, Analytics, and UX to deliver scalable solutions.

The role requires 5+ years in product management, strong platform and API experience, and a customer-focused mindset in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of product management experience delivering technical platforms or customer-facing experiences.
  • Experience defining platform architecture and API strategies in collaboration with engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of content management platforms and scalable development principles.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery to launch and optimization.
  • Serve as the technical authority for the content management platform with engineering.
  • Co-own the platform roadmap and prioritize investments for impact.
  • Define and evolve API contracts to separate content authoring, storage, and delivery layers.
  • Build platform capabilities powering content experiences across Sportsbook, Casino, and Predictions.
  • Deliver tools and capabilities that reduce manual effort and enable other teams.
  • Translate goals into well-defined requirements, success metrics, and delivery plans with stakeholders.
  • Use data and experimentation to prioritize initiatives and communicate trade-offs.
