Job summary

Tanium is seeking a Product Manager for Platform to own the roadmap from ideation to launch, partnering with engineering to shape Tanium’s core platform components including hosting, services and appliances.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of SaaS or platform product experience, strong communication, and an entrepreneurial mindset. This is an individual contributor role with a hybrid schedule (3 days per week in the office).

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of product experience supporting a SaaS solution, appliance or equivalent with ability to discover opportunities and deliver.
• Proven track record of working with business stakeholders to drive definition and alignment.
• Working knowledge of Linux environments and enterprise IT infrastructure preferred.
• Experience partnering with system administrators or owning products related to appliances, hosting, platform services, or systems management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery of the product roadmap from ideation to launch in partnership with the engineering teams.
• Collaborate with other Product Managers to define strategic short- and long-term technical roadmaps and identify new opportunities.
• Document customer use cases, product requirements, and business justifications for new features.
• Partner with internal teams to develop materials for enablement and training on new features and updates.
• Support product marketing, partner relationships, and opportunities to accelerate adoption and Tanium’s brand.
• Work with business and technical teams to find solutions to daily challenges.
• Leverage marketplace trends to develop strategic solutions.
