Job summary

Apple Inc. in Seattle, WA is seeking an experienced Power, Performance and Thermal Architect to help push the boundaries of our Apple Silicon across devices.

You will influence power, performance and thermal strategies at the platform level, balancing constraints and user experience across product lines. Working at the intersection of hardware and software, you will collaborate with SoC, OS, power delivery and platform teams to expand capabilities, specify features, and drive high-efficiency

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar engineering field.
  • Experience with computer architecture.
  • Experience with power management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Extend Apple's SoC power, performance and thermal control architecture to new platforms and deployment scenarios.
  • Partner with SoC and power delivery architects, operating system designers, control system engineers and platform power management stakeholders to drive high-efficiency system architectures.
  • Develop and specify new hardware and software features to extract maximum capabilities from systems operating under power, performance and thermal constraints.
