Job summary

OpenAI is seeking an experienced Product Manager to define and scale data processing, privacy, billing, and access controls products. You will set strategy and execute on projects like expanding regional data processing footprint, enabling new inference caching controls, and building APIs for spend-management.

You will partner with engineering, security, legal, and finance to deliver high-trust systems. This role is based in San Francisco, CA, with a hybrid model of 3 days in the office per week

Qualifications

• Experience in security, privacy, data infrastructure, or usage-based platform products.
• Strong understanding of data governance, access controls, and enterprise identity.
• Experience with usage metering, cost-management tooling, or billing-adjacent systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise data control plane to securely access and manage enterprise data for LLM use.
• Drive product strategy for safety controls, privacy features, access management, and API usage/cost visibility.
