Job summary

HYVE Solutions is seeking a System Engineering Lead to drive the NPI process for server networking products. You will champion test requirements, manage issue disposition, and coordinate with design teams to deliver products per schedule.

You will interact directly with customers for provisioning and technical support, and support Tier 2 escalation responses. The role requires ~20% domestic travel and strong networking expertise.

Qualifications

• EE or Networking degree required.
• 5–8 years in networking product test/development.
• Certifications: Cisco CCNA/CCNP or JNCIP/JNCIE desirable.
• L1/L2 networking debugging experience.
• ITIL v2/3 Foundation; scripting in Python, Perl, PHP, and Shell a plus.
• Networking experience with Brocade and Cisco OS or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of DS0/DS1/DS3 and SONET networks.
• Willingness to travel up to ~20% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPI testing and issue disposition for server networking products.
• Support test automation and debugging across the networking stack.
• Collaborate with design teams to drive issues to closure.
• Interact with customers for provisioning and technical support.
• Handle Tier 2 escalation responses.
• Configure routers/switches and perform IOS/OS upgrades.
• Implement and support network protocols (HSRP, VRRP, BGP4, OSPF, VOIP).
