American Specialty Health Incorporated is seeking a Platform Manager II - Fitness to join our Product department. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will lead with empathy, collaborate across departments, and refine systems for better efficiency and effectiveness. The primary purpose of this position is to support the Fitness business by managing internal tools and platforms, ensuring alignment with company goals, productivity, and operational efficiency, while collaborating with product delivery teams and employing a systems thinking approach.

Salary Range

American Specialty Health offers a Full-Time Annual Salary Range of $69,200 to $95,000, depending on qualifications, education, skills, experience, and internal equity.

Remote Worker Guidelines

This position requires remote training and the ability to work from home in a designated area with company-provided technology. A stable internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps download and upload) is necessary for participating in online meetings.

Responsibilities
  • Lead discovery, documentation, and optimization of internal systems supporting the fitness business, including enrollment, eligibility, reimbursements, member support workflows, and partner integrations.
  • Identify, manage, and prioritize cross-team priorities.
  • Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions to identify pain points and inefficiencies.
  • Create process maps, user journeys, and documentation to align stakeholders and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Translate insights into product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams.
  • Own and prioritize the internal platform backlog to enhance frontline productivity and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with engineering, UX design, product, operations, and compliance teams to deliver platform enhancements.
  • Define and monitor success metrics related to tool adoption, process efficiency, and support enablement.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for internal applications within the fitness ecosystem.
  • Coordinate with teams for delivery plans, testing, training, and support.
  • Ensure quality and consistency of user experience through collaboration with design and user experience teams.
  • Incorporate stakeholder input into the product roadmap, balancing conflicting priorities based on business and customer value.
  • Drive adoption of new tools and system updates through documentation, training, and change management.
  • Communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Advocate for systems thinking and user experience improvements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; high school diploma if equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Business Analyst.
  • Proven experience in improving complex systems or internal platforms.
  • High proficiency in agile processes and principles.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Strong facilitation skills and ability to drive clarity across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Passion for system design, process optimization, and root cause analysis.
  • Empathy for frontline workers and commitment to improving their tools.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Experience leading product discovery and delivering results in Agile environments.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and bring structure to evolving systems.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, support ticketing systems, partner portals, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to define metrics and iterate quickly.
