Job summary

Surfside in New York is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Platform Integrations team and help build and scale the integration layer that connects Surfside with external partners, platforms, and retailers.

You will work with engineers, product managers, and client-facing teams to implement reliable connectivity that powers autonomous marketing workflows, focusing on APIs, data pipelines, and partner platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills across multiple concurrent projects and client needs.
• Exceptional communication abilities with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• An analytical mindset with data validation and debugging focus.
• Bonus: Experience with ad-tech, retail media platforms, or e-commerce/POS integrations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure seamless deployments of Surfside's digital SDKs, e-commerce tracking, POS/API connections, and advanced retail media solutions for our diverse client base
• Collaborate within the team to design integrations that are scalable, secure, and resilient with ad exchanges, data providers, and partner platforms
• Communicate technical scopes both internally and externally with clients, retailers, and partners as needed, providing guidance and troubleshooting
• Debug and resolve integration issues with partners and stakeholders
• Write production-ready code and internal tooling, and maintain detailed partner-facing technical specs and documentation
• Improve observability, logging, and alerting for integration services
