Job summary

Capital One seeks an Integration Engineer 5 to partner with senior leaders and drive high-priority cross-functional initiatives, translating strategic objectives into live, scalable platform solutions across product, risk, cyber and lines of business.

You will design and maintain enterprise Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 collaboration platforms, implement IAM strategies, data governance, and security controls, and mentor engineers while promoting best practices in agile teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering or related quantitative field.
• 6+ years designing and maintaining cross-platform or cloud integrations.
• 5+ years API-based integrations using scripting or orchestration tools.
• 4+ years automating system configuration or data workflows.
• 4+ years architecting and securing large-scale Google Workspace or MS 365.
• 1+ year monitoring, observability, and automated remediation.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and maintain enterprise Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 platforms.
• Partner with Product, Risk, and IAM teams to translate objectives into platform configurations and policies.
• Implement MFA, SSO, and context-aware access; govern data handling and third-party apps.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and HR on data retention and eDiscovery.
• Identify automation opportunities and mentor engineers within Agile teams.
• Provide proactive support, monitor performance, and drive platform improvements.
