Job summary

SpaceXAI is hiring a Software Engineer for Platform Infrastructure to design and implement a large-scale distributed system powering AI training across GPUs and Linux kernels. You’ll optimize performance, collaborate on hardware/software co-design, and maintain robust tooling for reliability and throughput.

The role requires deep systems programming skills in C/C++/Rust and hands-on Kubernetes expertise, with a focus on scalable, production-grade infrastructure and observability.

Qualifications

• Experience with systems programming across the stack, from kernels to user space.
• Strong grasp of modern container orchestration and Linux kernel concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and production-grade operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement a large-scale distributed system enabling AI training at scale.
• Profile, debug, and optimize performance across GPUs, Linux kernel, networking, and filesystems.
• Collaborate on hardware, software, and algorithm co-design to push AI training boundaries.
• Maintain and evolve the codebase to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Develop tools to boost team productivity and workflow efficiency.
