Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join the Platform Security team. You will design and implement AI-powered security tools to protect our Kubernetes-based infrastructure and secure AI-driven systems, writing clean, scalable backend code and addressing vulnerabilities end-to-end.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in fast-paced environments, strong Python or Rust or Go skills, and a track record of building tools from scratch.

Qualifications

3+ years in fast-paced, high-impact environments.
Expertise in Python, Rust, or Go with clean, efficient code.
Certifications like CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, Security+, CASP+ preferred.
Experience building tools or systems from scratch with scalable solutions.
Proficiency in designing scalable backend architectures for secure systems.
Familiarity with security testing frameworks (Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, SAST/DAST).
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deploying and securing containerized applications.
Knowledge of SBOM management and dependency scanning.

Responsibilities

Design and build AI-driven security tooling and agents to identify, analyze, and mitigate vulnerabilities.
Proactively identify security problems to solve and own end-to-end design and implementation.
Collaborate as a security champion and influence decisions across teams.
