Investment Banking is a technology-driven business powered by highly reliable, scalable, and automated platforms. We are seeking a highly technical Platform Engineering & Site Reliability Engineering Vice President to join the Investment Banking Chief Technology Office (IB CTO) team in Cary, NC. This is a hands‑on engineering leadership role focused on designing, building, and evolving cloud‑native platform capabilities that enable application teams to deliver resilient, scalable, and observable services at scale. The successful candidate will combine deep expertise in Kubernetes, cloud platforms, automation, observability, and software engineering to improve platform reliability and developer productivity across the Investment Banking technology landscape. You will work directly with engineering teams to implement SRE principles, develop shared platform services, automate operational processes, and build self‑service capabilities that reduce complexity and accelerate software delivery. This role requires significant hands‑on technical contribution alongside leadership and mentoring responsibilities.
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $125,000 to $185,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
