Job summary

Autodesk is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a Platform/DevOps team in the cloud infrastructure space. You will balance platform engineering expertise with application delivery leadership across AWS and Kubernetes environments.

You will mentor engineers, shape technical direction, and drive operational excellence, including SLOs/SLIs, on-call practices, and security-by-default infrastructure. This role emphasizes delivery ownership and internal platform evolution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of people leadership experience managing and developing engineers.
• 7+ years of engineering experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, platform engineering, or related areas.
• Experience delivering and operating business-critical applications in AWS environments.
• Strong experience with AWS services including EKS, EC2, VPC networking, S3, RDS/DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
• Experience with Kubernetes operations, Helm, autoscaling, and infrastructure security practices.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or AWS CDK.
• Programming experience in Python, Java, TypeScript, or Node.js.
• Familiarity with SRE practices, including incident management, SLIs/SLOs, and operational excellence.
• Strong communication and stakeholder partnership skills.

• Establish inclusive, collaborative team culture and drive delivery ownership for applications.
• Own delivery for business applications, including roadmap execution, release planning, and incident management.
