Job summary

Istari is seeking a Digital Engineering Manager to lead part of the digital engineering effort within the Customer Success organization. You will mentor Forward Deployed Engineers, shape architecture, and drive technical direction in collaboration with the Director of Digital Engineering.

You will own key initiatives, review designs for quality and scalability, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and help scale processes as the organization grows.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of engineering experience (aerospace, systems, mechanical, electrical, or similar)
• 3+ years leading or managing technical teams
• Strong understanding of APIs, data pipelines, services, and integrations
• Experience with engineering tools and ecosystems such as MBSE, CAD/PLM, and simulations

Responsibilities

• Own technical execution for a subset of Digital Engineering initiatives
• Mentor and manage Forward Deployed Engineers
• Define standards and reusable technical patterns
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate customer needs into plans
• Balance hands-on work with people leadership and strategic direction
