Job summary

William Blair is seeking undergraduate students for a 10-week summer internship in 2027 to promote technology careers among high-potential students from underrepresented backgrounds. The program includes training, community service and social events.

Responsibilities include configuring infrastructure and security systems, communicating issues to the Project Manager, and developing process improvements with automation.

Qualifications

• Full-time students pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering with anticipated graduation between December 2027 and June 2030.
• Must be organized with high attention to detail and possess strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work well in a team environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Configure and implement infrastructure and security systems across network, server, cloud, and security domains.
• Communicate issues to the Project Manager and implement resolutions.
• Develop process improvements using enterprise apps and automation.
• Monitor and investigate system and security alerts.
• Provide recommendations to improve accuracy, security and system utilization.
• Collaborate with other teams to enhance processes and documentation.
