Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a Platform Specialist to join our DIA-focused CIS program. You will support global 24/7 operations, maintaining Windows Server and Linux environments across physical, virtual, and cloud platforms to ensure availability and security.

The role emphasizes automation, patch management, continuous compliance, and collaboration with engineering and operations teams to keep mission-critical services running. A TS/SCI clearance and relevant certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current TS/SCI clearance with poly before start.
• DOD 8140 Certification (Security+ minimum).
• Certifications: Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Red Hat Certified Administrator (RHCSA), or Linux Professional Institute LPIC-1.
• Education/experience combinations: AA+10+, BS/BA+8+, MS/MA+6+, PhD+4.
• Minimum 4 years hands-on experience integrating, operating, and maintaining IT hardware and software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, operate, and maintain Windows Server/Linux configurations across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
• Automate builds, rebuilds, and zero-day configurations for rapid deployment and high availability.
• Support Interim Authority to Test (IATT) and Authorities to Operate (ATOs); coordinate POA&M actions.
• Provide incident analysis and hands-on support; coordinate with Engineering and Operations for maximum availability.
• Perform scheduled and ad hoc maintenance; manage patching across networks and security domains.
• Use Lab facilities to develop test scripts and manage Blue/Green deployments before full deployment.
• Analyze system performance, capacity, and SLAs to optimize infrastructure usage.
• Develop SOPs and documentation; support reporting and data tracking per contract deliverables.
• Participate in Continual Service Improvement (CSI) and innovation activities.
