Job summary

Panera Bread is seeking a Platform Engineer for the Panera Systems team to build, support, and improve automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure platforms that enable software delivery across the organization. You will work closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to improve reliability, efficiency, and developer productivity.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related field.
• Foundational understanding of CI/CD concepts and software delivery practices.
• Experience with source control systems such as GitLab or GitHub.
• Experience scripting with one or more of the following: Python, Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript.
• Experience with Linux administration.
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience with Docker containers.
• Basic understanding of Kubernetes concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Datadog, Splunk, or Prometheus.
• Experience supporting CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI.
• Experience with VMware or virtualization technologies.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps concepts and practices.
