Job summary

ISS A/S is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to manage and improve cloud infrastructure, particularly using Red Hat OpenShift. This role involves working closely with development teams and ensuring the scalability and efficiency of cloud solutions.

Ideal candidates will have expertise in Azure and experience with CI/CD processes, along with strong skills in Linux administration. The position offers a hybrid work model and attractive benefits including private health insurance and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role with a focus on cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Linux administration and several scripting languages (Bash, Python).
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure platform services and architecture.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Ansible.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub or similar.
• English proficiency, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure in Azure and on-premise environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Support our largest application of ISS connected to multiple internal systems.
• Monitor system health and performance using monitoring tools.
• Define and implement security and infrastructure standards.
• Optimize infrastructure costs and usage.
• Manage and improve Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible.
• Troubleshoot issues across infrastructure, network, and application layers.
• Stay updated on emerging DevOps tools and contribute to process improvements.
