Job summary

Vantor is seeking a Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters across on‑premise and hybrid cloud environments. You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, implement infrastructure as code, and monitor performance, security, and reliability for mission-critical workloads in a secure environment.

The role requires an active U.S. government security clearance at TS/SCI with CI poly, 8+ years in platform engineering, and strong scripting with Python/Bash plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 8+ years of experience in platform engineering or DevOps.
• Production experience operating Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and automation tools.
• Security compliance and working in restricted environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters across on‑premise and hybrid cloud.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for containerized apps.
• Implement infrastructure as code and automation tooling.
• Monitor performance, availability, and security; respond to incidents.
• Collaborate with development, security, and ops teams to improve reliability.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance standards.
• Communicate with geographically distributed SAFe Agile teams.
