Job summary

Fintal Partners seeks a Platform Engineer to design and scale the infrastructure powering a high-performance trading environment. You will work with software engineers, infrastructure teams, and production support to create reliable, automated, and scalable platforms enabling low-latency trading systems.

This role emphasizes infrastructure as code, cloud-native technologies, and software engineering in a fast-paced environment where performance and reliability are critical.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Platform/DevOps/Infrastructure or SRE roles.
• Strong programming experience with Python.
• Hands-on Kubernetes in production environments.
• Experience managing infrastructure with Terraform.
• Strong Linux systems and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Excellent troubleshooting and a passion for automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Kubernetes-based infrastructure supporting production trading systems.
• Develop automation and internal tooling using Python.
• Manage infrastructure through Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code best practices.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Monitor platform health, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize system reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to build scalable, secure, and highly available platforms.
• Drive continuous improvements across automation, observability, and operational excellence.
