SecurityScorecard is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join our Platform team in Dallas, Texas. This role will involve owning and evolving foundational systems that power our core products while collaborating closely with engineering, product managers, and stakeholders to drive platform development.

You will mentor engineers and guide technical initiatives around microservices architecture, distributed systems, and automation. We offer a competitive salary ranging from $160,000 to $185,000, along with comprehensive benefits and an inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong focus on backend systems, platform services, or infrastructure.
• Solid experience designing and scaling distributed systems with strong focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and build scalable platform components using Node.js, TypeScript, AWS, and React.
• Lead code and architecture reviews to uphold high standards for reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Own and deliver impactful projects end‑to‑end.
