Job summary

Booker DiMaio seeks a Platform Engineer to lead deployment and sustainment of mission-critical systems across multiple network environments. This hybrid role covers full-stack work, from deploying containerized apps with Kubernetes to tweaking Java Spring back-end and Vue.js front-end components.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, and Git experience, plus strong CI/CD know-how and cloud familiarity (AWS). Onsite in MD with some remote days and security clearance required.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required.
• Onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD with 1-2 remote days per week.
• Experience deploying and operating containerized systems with Kubernetes.
• Backend: Java Spring (Spring Boot); Frontend: Vue.js or equivalent.
• Strong Linux administration and Git experience; familiarity with CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment and sustainment of production systems across multiple networks.
• Design and document repeatable deployment pipelines for updates.
• Modify/troubleshoot system components in Java Spring and Vue.js as needed.
• Troubleshoot environment issues across infra, middleware, and app layers.
• Collaborate with DevOps, software developers, and system engineers.
