Job summary

Radiance Technologies in Dayton, OH seeks a Platform Engineer to design, implement, and improve our Kubernetes platform using Helm, Argo CD, GitLab, Harbor, and GitOps.

You will evaluate the current platform, reduce technical debt, ensure security and scalability, and partner with NASIC leaders to guide product owners and teams.

This role requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of experience and offers employee ownership, strong benefits, and opportunities to work on mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• IAT Level II (Security+) or higher certification preferred by DoD directives.
• CKA or CKAD certification strongly preferred for Kubernetes platform expertise.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Motivation to learn in a dynamic environment and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement innovative Kubernetes platform solutions using Helm, Argo CD, GitLab, and Harbor.
• Automate processes and reduce technical debt with IaC and CI/CD practices.
• Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of platform deployments and health monitoring.
• Collaborate with development teams to drive platform innovations and gather requirements.
• Provide guidance to NASIC leadership and product owners as needed.
