Job summary

Radiance Technologies is seeking a Platform Engineer to design, implement, and improve a Kubernetes platform at NASIC. You will prototype and deploy solutions using Helm, Argo CD, GitLab, and Harbor, while applying GitOps principles.

You will streamline CI/CD and IaC processes, reduce technical debt, and ensure platform security, scalability, and reliability. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and regular updates to NASIC leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• IAT Level II certification or higher as required by DoD directives.
• Preferred: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement innovative Kubernetes platform solutions using Helm, Argo CD, GitLab, and Harbor.
• Automate processes with Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD to reduce technical debt.
• Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of the platform.
• Maintain platform health with monitoring, alerting, and proactive maintenance.
• Collaborate with development teams to drive platform innovation.
• Provide progress reports and guidance to NASIC leadership and product owners.
