Apex Systems seeks a Platform Engineer IV to lead the engineering, automation, and governance of our core data platform in Cincinnati, on-site. This hands-on role focuses on platform reliability, deployment automation, and governance-as-code practices to safely operationalize data products.

The ideal candidate will administer multi-node environments, drive platform upgrades, and build scalable automation, leveraging Python, REST APIs, cloud integrations, and IaC tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in CS/IT or related field.
• Extensive hands-on platform administration, deployment automation, and production support in enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in Python, REST APIs/SDKs, cloud integration, Linux/Unix admin, shell scripting, and RBAC.

This is a hands-on platform engineering role focused on platform reliability, security, deployment automation, and governance-as-code practices.
