CME Group in New York is seeking a qualified automation professional to develop, design, and maintain automation tools and orchestration for large-scale, data-intensive systems. The role focuses on building reliable tools to monitor health and operational performance in a complex infrastructure.
You will collaborate with internal development, SRE, operations, and networking teams, assess risks, and document procedures while working under a hybrid telecommuting schedule determined by the employer.
Develop, design, and maintain automation tools and orchestration. Build and improve tools for users to understand and analyze the health and operations of large‑scale data‑intensive systems. Monitor the performance of infrastructure and develop automated solutions to address issues. Collaborate with other teams to design and implement tools that will help automate end‑to‑end processes within the infrastructure. Assess technical risks and develop mitigation strategies. Develop new specs, documentation, and participate in the development of technical procedures and user support guides. Collaborate effectively with internal development, SRE, operations, and networking teams to define detailed requirements and communicate clear expectations. Track infrastructure delivery and dependencies to implementation. Communicate implementation issues, delays, and mitigation plans. Telecommuting permitted on a hybrid schedule as determined by the employer.
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or related field and 12 months of related work experience.
$131,997.00 to $189,600.00 per Year. Standard Company Benefits.
