Job summary

Aflac is seeking a Software Release Engineer to advance platform customization, automation, and integrations in a remote US-based role. You will drive design, testing, and deployment of platform integrations while ensuring secure coding practices and performance optimization.

You will collaborate across departments to deliver reliable platform solutions and maintain adherence to security standards, with ongoing opportunities for growth and impact within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in release practices and environments or related experience.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitors performance, resolves problems, and manages component capacity issues.
• Design, test, develop, configure, and maintain integrations to platform’s applications.
• Adhere to the platform’s security and coding standards for resilience, data, and security.
• Review business requirements to deploy the best solution, including configuring, coding, and debugging.
• Work closely with cross-functional departments to communicate statuses and technical proposals.
• Deploy and configure platform applications tailored to company needs.
• Design technical solutions, configure/customize, test, maintain the platform applications to meet company requirements.
• Performs other duties as required.

Total Rewards

The salary range for this job is $78,000 - $115,000. This range is specific to the job and salary offers consider a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and peer compensation. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Aflac at the time of the posting.

At Aflac, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role to allow for future and continued salary growth, and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate.
