Job summary

Aflac is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Digital Services division in a remote role. You will analyze operational data, develop modeling tools, and deliver insights to improve performance and forecasting.

Strong communication and technical skills with SQL/Python and visualization tools are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in analytics, CS or related field.
• 0-2+ years of job-related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform business performance research by interpreting and comparing operational data for benchmarking.
• Develop mathematical modeling tools identifying performance metrics.
• Assist with special projects requiring analytical expertise and executive-level presentations.
• Define and implement measures/reports to assess organizational or initiative performance.
• Partner with teams to architect, develop, and deploy analytics tools for efficiency and scale.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends and insights on program performance and employee experience.
• Stay current with software to build reports and analyze, including Snowflake, Tableau, PowerBI.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Performs business performance research by gathering, interpreting and comparing operational data for benchmarking and provides insights/recommendations to the organization.
• Develops and updates mathematical modeling tools identifying performance metrics.
• Assists with special projects requiring commensurate analytical expertise and the development of executive level presentations.
• Ensures appropriate measures and reports are defined and implemented to assess organizational performance and/or initiative performance.
• Partners with peer group to lead the architecture, development, and deployment of analytics tools that enable efficiency and scale in discovering actionable insights.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to Client program performance, employee experience, and organizational effectiveness.
• Remains abreast of the latest software to build reports and conduct analysis efficiently, including Snowflake, Tableau, PowerBI and other analytic tools.

Total Rewards

The salary range for this job is $52,000 - $80,000. This range is specific to the job and salary offers consider a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and peer compensation. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Aflac at the time of the posting.

At Aflac, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role to allow for future and continued salary growth, and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate.
