Jorie AI in the United States is seeking a Platform Software Engineer to design and build shared components, integrations, and tooling for automation across teams. You will work on backend services, cloud infrastructure, and healthcare interoperability using Python, FastAPI, and React.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python with production-grade apps.
• REST API design, development, and usage experience.
• Experience with workflow automation and RPA tooling (Selenium, OpenCV).
• Full-stack web development using FastAPI (backend) and React (frontend).
• Relational databases design and query optimization (MS SQL).
• Containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Cloud deployments on Azure; HIPAA compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Platform Development: build reusable components, libraries, and SDKs for automation.
• Healthcare Integration: implement EDI, HL7, FHIR, and REST integrations with EHRs and payers.
• Workflow Automation: maintain automation platform and RPA tooling for scalable workflows.
• API Development: design RESTful APIs for healthcare transactions and downstream systems.
• Web Development: contribute to backend FastAPI and frontend React apps.
• Cloud Infrastructure: deploy and manage services on Azure (App Services, Functions, SQL).
• CI/CD & DevOps: work with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions; IaC with Terraform/Bicep.
• Compliance & Security: ensure HIPAA/privacy/security requirements and RBAC/KV usage.
• Documentation: write developer-facing docs and usage guides.
• Collaboration: align with cross-functional teams on platform standards.
