Job summary

Concourse is seeking a Platform Engineer to build AI-native software for state and local governments. In this role, you will design ingestion pipelines, develop AI workflows, and create core platform primitives that facilitate government operations.

Your contributions will help ensure compliance and efficiency by normalizing data from various legacy systems. The ideal candidate has strong backend skills in Python and/or Node, and must be a US citizen willing to work in-person five days a week in Flatiron, NYC.

Qualifications

• Portfolio of end-to-end projects completed under pressure is required.
• US citizenship is required for government work.
• Willingness to work in-person in Flatiron, NYC five days a week.

Responsibilities

• Design and own connectors, ingestion pipelines, and data modeling.
• Build infrastructure for long-running, multi-step AI workflows.
• Create core primitives for FDPMs to build on.
• Ensure data isolation, access control, and auditability.
• Collaborate on architecture decisions with the founder.
